Remanufacturing worn rollers can be an effective way to reduce expenses while maintaining performance. Our remanufacturing services at The Roller Company include core repair (including journal repair), recovering, balancing, grinding and bearing replacement and complete press ready services.
At The Roller Company we can work with your designs and drawings to restore your rollers to original specifications, but we are also capable of advanced reverse engineering of your existing worn rollers.
Rubber rollers are stripped of old, worn rubber and brought down to the core. We then individually inspect each core and all of its parts. If necessary, we can repair any defects in our in-house machine shop, including fixing cracks and worn journals. Next, The Roller Company has a large inventory of roller covering materials available to quickly respond to your needs. We can formulate the covering to your specific requirements and provide you with the most suitable materials, with the most effective durometer, and with tolerances as close as .001".
